Terms and Conditions on the Use of Web Service

Dear Marists


It is good that you are using free web services to make your project blogs look good.

However, please make sure that you have read and understood the terms and conditions specified.  If you have doubts, do ask.  If you do not know who to approach, you may look for your teachers or me (Mr Peh). This is to protect yourselves from unnecessary trouble.

For example, the use of blog services has an age limit, which is 13 years old and I believe all of you are either 13 and above.

We encourage you to explore new technologies and solutions for your projects.

Project Blogs

Dear Marists

This is already week 3 and some of the project blogs are not ready yet.

So far, we have only received 76 invitations.  We should have a total of 90 blogs, what happened to the remaining 14?  Please remind your classmates if they have not done so.

I've visited quite a number of project blogs and also left comments.

Some blogs are awesome while some need more improvement.

In your blog, you need to have:
1) weekly reflective journals of individual group members, hence there should be 4 - 5 postings per week.
2) Project Assignment -- You should have another posting on your weekly assignment.  Alternatively, you can create permanent links on your blogs for your completed assignment.

We've come to the 2nd lesson of GRACE this week.

Some of you had your lesson while the rest will be having theirs soon.

Announcement: Updates on GRACE

Dear Marists

There are some updates:

1) The lesson folders were renamed from "GRACE Week xx" to "GRACE Lesson xx". This is to avoid confusion between "week" and "lesson".

2) There is a slight movement in the teachers of Sec 2G & 2I. Mr Kan Kong Keat will be the teacher for Sec 2I while Miss Dianna Sim will take over Mr Kan's groups in Sec 2G.  The groupings are updated at: http://docs.google.com/View?id=dzmzntq_458hkbw8pfj

Workshop for GRACE

Please take note that the GRACE workshops scheduled on 20 Oct 09 and 27 Oct 09 are meant to prepare the Sec one pupils for their Project Work in 2010.
